Well today I recieved my ultimate x-men comic lot.
Got Ultimate x-men #1-#77, plus the first 2 annuals, and a couple variant covers.
I've only read the first 2 issues so far, so I haven't read enough to know whether or not I'm going to enjoy the series.
I've heard alot of old comic book fans saying negative things about this series. . .that they didn't enjoy the stories, and that they think they did some of the characters wrong.
well since I'm new to comics, and don't know a whole lot about the back stories of most of the main characters, I'm hoping I'll be able to enjoy this comic series.
I'll be back in a few days after I've read quite a few more comics, and let you guys know more thoughts.

Sounds like you won a nice lot. I generally liked the series. I went into it not knowing quite what to expect other than it being an "X-title" and was really rather pleased with it. Wolverine was the hardest to get used to... but I've come to enjoy the book.

i should do an update on my thoughts of the ultimate x-men comics.
for the most part they were pretty good imo, though somewhere around issue 30 i got really bored/annoyed with the series. . .thankfully it picked back up.
i hated how gambit dies in the series. . .he's been one of my favorite characters growing up, and i didn't get to see a whole lot of him in the ultimate x-men.
anyhow, i'll try to do a post on my thoughts of the ultimate x-men that i've read.
